KEMPERFIX ADHESIVE

Description

A high-foaming, moisture-curing, single-component polyurethane adhesive.


Applications

Kemperfix adhesive is a cold applied structural adhesive used to bond the Kempertherm insulation board to the vapour barrier once this has been self-adhesively fixed to the substrate. It foams when exposed to moist air and forms an exceptionally strong bond when cured. It is applied directly from the container in snakes or strips, the insulation should be bedded and consolidated onto the Kemperfix within ten minutes and cures within approx. one hour at ambient temperatures.

KEMPERFIX FIXINGS

Description

A 6.3mm diameter, self-tapping, corrosion-protected, carbon steel roofing screw with low profile head used with a rebated aluzinc stress plate for mechanical fixing insulation to concrete, timber or metal decks.


Applications

Kemperfix fixings should be used whenever the insulation is to be mechanically fixed to the substrate.
