Kemperol ideal choice for valley repairs
Kemperol waterproofing is now widely used to repair valley gutters, forming a permanent membrane that, being seamless along its whole length, very effectively overcomes the problem of leaks between adjoining sections.
Kemperol bonds easily to the existing gutter, as well as downspouts, without the need for mechanical or adhesive fixing. This solves the immediate leak whilst reliably preventing any future problems. Kemperol 2K-PUR – still the UK’s only solvent-free cold-liquid waterproofing - is ideal for this application, which with it’s outstanding environmental credentials means green valleys are now a genuine option!
As well as being solvent-free, the resins have an 80% renewable component, sourced from castor oil, with the fleece itself having a recycled content of 25%. Being odourless means roof repairs can be undertaken without disrupting occupants and the system is sufficiently lightweight for no structural reinforcement to be needed. Any other roof failures identified whilst the repair is being done – end laps and fixtures on profiled metal or asbestos roofs are typical of this – can be waterproofed at the same time using Kemperol products.
